you know i’ll take you to another world
David was known as being one of those guys. Being friends with most of the popular kids, David got along well with a lot of people. Unlike his sterotype, the bad boy will talk to anyone that will give him the time of day - even though most people would be scared to look into his eyes. At the Williams home, his father wasn’t there often. When he did come home, it was with the smell of liquor on his breath. David watched him do things to his sister that David couldn’t stop. Every time he tried, his dad would backlash at him, and kick him out on the street for the night. So, in this house, David did anything and everything he could to protect Tessa. She was very fragile, and he would do anything to protect her. This side of him wasn’t shown at school. No one knew the bad boy of East High had a soft side. His reputation would be ruined if they found out. There was only two other people besides Tessa Williams that knew that he had a side like that. Peter Baylor and Graycen Bolton have been his best friends since he can remember. They’d done almost everything together for a while, and he would do anything and everything for these boys. They were the only other people that knew that this bad boy did, in fact, have a soft side. He hid it from everyone because of his secret. Because if his customers found out, they’d have everything against him. When his father wasn’t home, David had to make do with what he could get. The way he found that was best for supplying his and his sisters needs? Drug dealing. With this pretty face, David could rack up the amount of sales in weeks, and be able to support him and his sister. He hated doing it, but he knew it had to be done. He didn’t share this with anyone - not even Tessa knew. He never wanted anyone to find out. A while back, David was talking to the young Nickolette Evans and she sent him some…interesting pictures. He never asked for them, nor did he complain. After that, the young girl didn’t speak another word to him. He was honestly just confused on how something so small could ruin something he thought could turn great. He wasn’t in love, but he figured in a year or two he could be, and it just confused him. He liked her a lot, but took a step back. In a way he was glad she stopped talking to him. She was getting in the way. He was afraid if they got any closer, she just might find out. He couldn’t have that just yet.
Besides being one of the biggest drug dealers in his city of New Mexico, David was also amazing with music. He’d never been in band, nor had ever played an instrument, but he had the voice of an angel. He’d been in a couple of talent shows at their school, but had always played it off as a joke. He never really took them seriously because if everyone knew his weakness was holding a microphone, his reputation would be ruined. The slick bad boy had a note range that could carry for miles, and he loved just messing around with his mates and a guitar. He had fun when he sang. For a guy with a life like him, all you needed was one thing to keep you grounded and you’d end up still being alright.
